Your Teleprompter, Your Way

Every setup is different—different screen sizes, lighting conditions, and personal preferences. ScreenPrompt's overlay is fully customizable to fit your exact needs.

Font Size and Style

Adjust the text size based on your distance from the screen. If you're recording from a few feet away, increase the font size. For closer setups, smaller text gives you more context at once.

Pro users can select from multiple font families designed for optimal readability at a distance.

Transparency and Background

Set the overlay transparency to see your recording software or slides behind the text. This is especially useful when you need to monitor your video feed or presentation while speaking.

  • Lower transparency: Better text visibility
  • Higher transparency: See more of what's behind
  • Background blur: Helps text stand out without blocking content

Position and Size

Drag the overlay anywhere on your screen. Position it near your camera for natural eye contact, or place it on a secondary monitor for a dedicated teleprompter setup.

Resize the overlay window to show as much or as little text as you need. Some speakers prefer seeing full paragraphs, while others like one sentence at a time.

Color Themes

Choose between light and dark themes, or create custom color schemes:

  • Dark background with white text for bright rooms
  • Light background with dark text for dim settings
  • High contrast modes for maximum readability
  • Pro custom themes: Match your brand colors

Save Your Settings

Once you've found your perfect setup, save it as a preset. Create different presets for different recording scenarios—YouTube videos, live streams, presentations, and more.
